“SMALL” SINGLE-SHAFT SHREDDER
Small single-shaft shredders are used to unload machine tools that grind chips. The size of the pieces is uniform and consistent, thanks to a discharge grid that ensures the calibration of the ground product. They are also equipped with a system for ejecting any pieces or monoliths that may be present among the chips.
"HARD" SINGLE-SHAFT SHREDDER
"Hard" single-shaft shredders are designed to grind medium and large quantities of any type of material, including MSW. They produce a consistent and uniform size, determined by the diameter of the holes in the discharge grid. They can be fed by a conveyor belt, metal containers or hydraulic grapples. The material, brought into contact with the rotor by a hydraulic pusher, is shredded by a rotating shaft with sharp tools. Generally equipped with high power, they are used as a secondary stage in sorting processes.
