The "hard" twin-shaft shredders are designed to grind and reduce the volume of any type of material in medium or large quantities. They are fed by a conveyor belt or directly from metal containers. Cutting is performed by two counter-rotating shafts fitted with hooked rings and operated by a high-power double gear motor. They produce unevenly sized pieces and are a key element in the reduction of any type of waste and/or the subsequent sorting process.
